All classes are one session classes unless otherwise noted
Prerequisite key:
Level 0 - No experience necessary!
Level 1 - Intro to Sewing* required
Level 2 - Intro to Sewing* and Intro to Sewing II OR Intro to Sewing plus 1-3 small/medium projects
Level 3 - 1-3 Level 2 classes OR Intro to Sewing* plus 3-5 projects
Level 4 - 1-3 Level 2 or 3 classes OR Intro to Sewing* plus 5-8 projects
*or the equivalent skill level of being able to set up a machine, do a straight stitch, back stitch, and basic sewing skills

Intro to Sewing, 3.5hrs
Learn to set up and use a sewing machine, then make a tote bag! All materials and machines provided. No experience necessary. Students are welcome to bring their own machine if they have one! | Level 0 | $15-$95
Intro to Sewing II: Zipper Pouch, 3hrs
Make a handy zipper pouch in this 3 hour class. You’ll get to practice skills you learned in Intro to Sewing while picking up some new skills like inserting a zipper | Level 1 | $90

Intro to Sewing II- Reusable Grocery Bags, 3hrs
Learn to use a basic sewing pattern to make a Baggu-style packable grocery bag. You’ll get to practice skills you learned in Intro to Sewing while picking up some new skills! | Level 1 | $90

In this class, you’ll learn three different techniques for using scraps to make simple patchwork. This is a great class for anyone who’s quilt-curious. All materials provided, although you can bring your own scraps if you desire! | Level 1 | $45

Intro to Quilt-making, 3hrs, 5 week class

In this 2.5hr introductory class, you’ll learn the basics of mending and reinforcing woven fabrics using stitching inspired by Japanese sashiko.
