10-10:45am - Sashiko mending techniques with mai ide Learn the basics of Sashiko, a Japanese visible mending and quilting technique
11-11:45am - Patching up holes with Epiphany learn to patch up larger holes with patches and hand sewing.

Our Annual Mend-a-thon is a day full of FREE mending workshops and volunteer opportunities, brought to you by Sincere Studio and sponsored by Oregon Metro. Our community is welcome to join us for drop-in, bite-sized workshops on basic mending skills. Sewing experience is not required for workshops. All tools and materials will be provided! RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
