Level 0 - No experience necessary!

Level 1 - Intro to Sewing** required

Level 2 - Intro to Sewing** and Intro to Sewing II OR Intro to Sewing plus 1-3 small/medium projects

Level 3 - 1-3 Level 2 classes OR Intro to Sewing** plus 3-5 projects

Level 4 - 1-3 Level 2 or 3 classes OR Intro to Sewing** plus 5-8 projects

Class Description

Prerequisite: Intro to Sewing (or equivalent) ***This is a time to work on personal projects so please bring your current work-in-progress! There will be no formal instruction or project provided during this club. Participants should be comfortable using any equipment or machines needed for their project.*** To use a serger, you must complete Intro to Sergers at Sincere Studio first. If you know how to use a serger and would like to be approved to use a serger during open sew and sewing club hours, please email frances@sincerestudiopdx.org to set up a skills test. Our sergers keep breaking during open sew hours and we cannot afford to get them fixed anymore! Free Limited space, RSVP required!

Class Policies

Spots for sewing clubs are in high demand and we are counting on the attendance from each person who signs up. Please understand that by booking this spot and not showing up, you are taking a spot from a community member who may really want to attend or need to use a machine. If you no-show two times in a row, we may ask you to refrain from signing up for more clubs for a while. Thank you for understanding.
