Sincere Studio Reparations Initiative

Sincere Studio is committed to supporting the reclamation of the historically Black Eliot/Albina neighborhood through both direct financial reparations and indirect support via space rental donations, volunteering, and more. Through our new initiative, we'll be diverting a portion of our revenue from class fees to organizations working towards the rebuilding and reclamation of the Albina neighborhood. To start, we're diverting $405 of our June revenue to Juneteenth Oregon, a non-profit that has been organizing Juneteeth celebrations in Portland for over 50 years. In addition to a parade, Juneteenth Oregon also puts on a festival at Lillis Albina park, which is right across the street from Sincere Studio. We are honored to support these historic festivities!
