youth sewing classes
Sincere Studio's youth sewing classes give kids a welcoming space to learn sewing and needle-craft skills. Students will get hands-on time with a sewing machine, build confidence through creative projects, and leave with a finished project. Our youth sewing classes are designed to be approachable, creative, and, most importantly, fun! No experience necessary! All machines and tools provided.

Monster Stuffies [ages 8-16]
Make your own monster! Learn to use a sewing machine to create a monster of your own design. All materials provided. No sewing experience required. $110

Meet our youth instructors
Our youth sewing class instructors are seasoned sewists who have experience developing sewing and needlecraft curriculum for kids and teens. They are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all types of learners. Youth class projects are approachable and include elements of creativity so students can personalize their creations. We're excited to offer these classes and hope your young sewist will join us!

Vivien Wise
Vivien (she/her) is a fiber artist by trade with an MFA and BFA in Fiber Arts, and a 3rd generation quilter. Originally from Chicago, she is an avid sewist, bicyclist, and lover of breakfast. Vivien has taught workshops in a variety of locations to a variety of ages and abilities in the region and around the US. You can find her in her studio trying to figure out how to make kites, or online at vivienwise.com
Aliya Hoff-Vanoni
Aliya (she/they) learned to sew three years ago and was immediately hooked. They sew a little bit of everything—bags, garments, quilts—but especially enjoy making custom clothes for other people. As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill, Aliya is committed to offering accessible and supportive learning environments where students can build self-confidence and community. Aliya loves to work with beginners of all ages, as well as anyone who could use some gentle but enthusiastic moral support in their life.
