Quilter's Workshop: Binding
Required skill level: Intro to Sewing II OR Intro to Sewing + 1-3 small-medium projects OR equivalent skill level
Quilter's workshops are bite-sized classes teaching one quilt-making skill.
In this class, we'll be focusing on binding--how to make it, sew it onto a quilt, and finishing techniques. Students will use studio-provided samples to practice on
Topics covered:
Making straight-grain binding
Sewing binding strips together with diagonal seams
Using a walking foot, including how to install it
Optional Materials
Notebook and pen for taking notes
